Mass mobilization work in the South - a contributing factor to generate synergy in the resistance war against the US for national salvation (1954-1975)
(PTOJ) - The resistance war against the US for national salvation is known as the great epic of the Vietnamese people’s war in the 20th century. It was the triumph of the all-people, comprehensive, long-term resistance war, which was the combination of the highly promoted synergy with the strength of the times. The success of mass mobilization work, indeed, made a great contribution to promoting the synergy. This paper clarifies some basic viewpoints on mass mobilization work on the southern battlefield (1954-1975) and valuable lessons for mass mobilization work, boosting the strength of the entire people in the process of national construction and defense nowadays.

(PTOJ) - General Vo Nguyen Giap - The outstanding military genius of the Vietnamese nation in the Ho Chi Minh era, the “Big Brother of the Vietnam People's Army”(1), “The People's General”(2), has made many great merits and especially outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese Party and nation. The miracle of the Ho Chi Minh sea trail and lessons on promoting the will, aspiration and strength of national unity
(PTOJ) - The Ho Chi Minh sea trail is the strategic transport route connecting the North pillar with the Southern front line in the war against the US for national salvation. Overcoming many difficulties, hardships and sacrifices, in the face of fierce enemy attacks, this strategic transport route with the journeys of tens of thousands of seas has operated continuously for 14 years (1961 - 1975). It has become the legendary road, the symbol of the great unity strength and aspiration for independence, freedom and national reunification of the Vietnamese people.
Ho Chi Minh’s will in building the Democratic Republic in Vietnam via General Election 1946
(PTOJ) - After the August Revolution victory in 1945, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam came into existence, opening the democracy-building period in Vietnam. During the early time of independence, the country's economy was exhausted and the literacy level was extremely low, however the people's mastership, especially in the political area, was guaranteed. The first General Election was successfully held on January 6, 1946 with the participation of a large number of people. In this regard, a People's Government was formed. The article focuses on clarifying Ho Chi Minh’s will in building the republic democracy and its values today.
Lessons of experience learned from the August revolution 1945
(LLCT) - Thoroughly studying Ho Chi Minh Thought and the Party's leadership style associated with current reality, the article draws some lessons from the August Revolution victory in 1945. It is the lesson on firmly hoisting the flag of national independence and socialism; on great national unity; revolution is the cause of the people, by the people, for the people; on the relationship between quality and quantity; on the close link between the Party's will with the people’s hearts, liberating ourselves with our own strength.
Declaration of Independence and its immortal values
(LLCT) - On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh flower garden, Hanoi, in front of a great number of people, on behalf of the provisional Government, Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, officially giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, a totally new regime in the thousands of years’ history of the Vietnamese people and also the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia. The Declaration of Independence is a document with immortal value leading the way for Vietnam’s development.

This article, referring to a number of works conducted by domestic and foreign researchers, attempts to analyze the legality of PM Pham Van Dong’s Diplomatic Note in the hope of asserting that the document has a common diplomatic nature, showing the socialist system’s solidarity against US invasions during the early stages of the Cold War. (LLCT) - Vietnam’s Human Rights Report was unanimously approved under the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) by 47 member countries of the Human Rights Council (HRC) and in the presence of 93 member countries of the United Nations (UN) and many international and non-governmental organizations on the 20th of June 2014 at the headquarters of the UN in Geneva. The event showed the international community’s appreciation of Vietnam’s efforts and achievements in delivering human rights and marked Vietnam’s steady progress in international integration and human rights dialogue and cooperation. It also implied that Vietnam was a good example of commitment, effort, and achievement in human rights on international scale.
