Implementing human rights in Vietnam: undeniable values
DOI: 10.70786/PTJ.V41.3541 (PTOJ) - Recently, hostile forces have frantically distorted and slandered our Party and State with accusations of violating human and civil rights. These are tricks aimed at discrediting the Party and the State of Vietnam, causing confusion, internal transformation, and creating pretext for calls for external intervention to carry out subversion and sabotage of the Vietnamese revolution. This article contributes to identifying and refuting the false and distorted arguments of hostile and reactionary forces regarding the implementation of human rights in Vietnam.

Protecting and ensuring the living conditions of disadvantaged groups
DOI: 10.70786/PTJ.V41.7138(PTOJ) - Taking care of and helping members of society, especially disadvantaged groups, is one of the tasks that our Party and State pay special attention to in the overall framework of economic, social, defense, security and foreign affairs policy development. Approaching the issue from a human rights perspective, this article focuses on clarifying the Party's views and policies towards disadvantaged groups in society; Evaluating the results of implementing the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws on protecting and ensuring the living conditions of disadvantaged groups in Vietnam today and propose some solutions.
Refuting false arguments about human rights in Global Report 2023 by International Human Rights Watch
DOI: 10.70786/PTJ.V40.7656 (PTOJ) - Every year, International Human Rights Watch publishes a Global Report to evaluate the implementation of human rights around the world, including Vietnam. The misleading information, denying achievements, and slandering the picture of democracy and human rights in Vietnam presented by this organization are based on arbitrariness, bias, and groundlessness. This article identifies and refutes the false arguments about human rights in the 2023 Global Report to affirm the efforts and achievements of our Party and State in the field of ensuring human rights.
75 years of the Universal Declaration of Human rights
DOI: 10.70786/PTJ.V40.3554 (LLCT) - The 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights represents a common understanding of human rights among nations, establishing basic standards and principles of human rights and crystallizing the cultural values regarding human rights in the world. However, the Declaration also has historical limitations; emphasizing universality but ignoring the specificity of human rights; focusing on individual rights but neglecting collective rights and presenting a simplified relationship between rights and obligations. Currently, based on the achievements, limitations, and inadequacies in implementing the Declaration, Vietnam is continuing to strengthen international cooperation to actively contribute to solving global human rights issues and building and perfecting the legal basis to ensure human rights.
Awareness, policy and implementation of human rights in Vietnam
DOI: 10.70786/PTJ.V40.3667(PTOJ) - Human rights are a universal value and a political category deeply associated with class. Reality proves that the revolutionary cause led by the Communist Party of Vietnam is the process of establishing and enforcing human rights based on a new perspective and approach to humanity. Up to now, all policies and guidelines of the Party, policies, and laws of the State of Vietnam have identified people as both the driving force and the goal of development. Vietnam is implementing human rights in a practical way and contributing to shaping a new understanding of humanity. This article contributes to providing scientific arguments to fight against wrong and hostile views and protect the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
