The meaning of renovative thoughts in the national history for the development and perfecting of the Party's theory on the path of renovation
(PTOJ) - The theory of renovation is the creation of the Communist Party of Vietnam. On the one hand, it is the creative application of Marxism -Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought to the specific conditions of Vietnam. On the other hand, it inherits and promotes the quintessence of the nation’s traditional values, especially the quintessence of reforms, renewals, and renovations throughout history. This article analyzes the meaning of renovative ideas in the nation's history in relation to developing and perfecting the Communist Party of Vietnam's theory on the parth of renovation.

Why is the Communist Party of Vietnam the only ruling Party and leader of the Vietnamese revolution
(LLCT) - Since its establishment, the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) has set out the right revolutionary goals, guidelines, and strategies to meet the requirements of the nation’s history and times. Thus, its revolutionary leadership is recognized. The CPV represents the interests of the entire nation and proves its leadership capacity and political prestige. Many Party members become immortal examples and monuments in the hearts and minds of the people. The Party has led the Vietnamese people to gain one victory to another; therefore, it is the only Party which is genuinely revolutionary, with proper revolutionary guidelines, truly courageous, intelligent and striving for the goal of “serving the Fatherland and the people,” to be deserved to lead the Vietnamese revolution.

The Marxist - Leninist theory on the Communist Party had been going through the forming and developing process with its basic attributes as the revolutionary and scientific nature; required communists to master it in practice and at the same time to know how to apply it creatively to each country’s historical conditions. Lenin instructed that, “We not at all regard Marx’s theory as something fully completed and inviolable; in the contrary, we believe that it has only laid the foundation for a science that the socialists need to further develop it in all aspects, if they do not want to lag behind life.”(1)
Building the Communist Party of Vietnam on ethics: an urgent mission in today's context
(LLCT) - At present, the corruption circumstance and the ideological, moral, lifestyle degeneration of a not so small number of cadres and Party members still remain serious, resulting in a bad effect on the people's trust in the Party's leadership. In order to lead country achieving a fast and sustainable development, the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) must truly represent for brainpower, conscience and morality; the Party must ensure consensus and solidarity among the entire people. Therefore, in today's context, it is imperative to work out effective solutions to build the Party in terms of ethics.
